KTM 890 SMT – DeCat Link Pipe

VEREX Tasmania is happy to introduce our updated link pipe to suit the 2024 models of the KTM 890 range. VEREX has been building our high quality link pipes since the inception of the 790/890 range in 2018, and continue to offer versions for new trims from KTM. Full stainless steel construction, hand built in Tasmania for a top quality fitment guarantee. The link pipe serves to give better throttle response and exhaust note, while reducing weight and heat produced by the catalytic converter.

Note: Shown fitted to 2024 890 Rally model, fitment confirmed for 890 SMT. 

How will this affect my bike?

For the 2024 models, KTM has introduced a post-catalyser O2 sensor. Customers have reported that after a period of running (100km-800km), the computer gives a catalyser efficiency warning. This disables cruise control and illuminates a notification on the dash. No other adverse effects to the running of the bike. 

Options for rectifying this issue and still evolving, and we have listed some options below. Please note, we have not personally tested these options and reccomend making your own enquiries prior to installation or modification.

FuelDongle.es has released a plug and play option which claims to stop the error from occuring – LINK.

Other riders are choosing to modify their existing loom to prevent the error (search 24 890 O2 mod).
